Ha ha ha! It's funny what some people say. Where did they grow up, not seeing feet like that? And you were lucky to find shoes for him. My brother Joel had to go without shoes until his feet thinned down at two years old.
Someone once told me that whenever they see my feet they think I have six toes. Thanks for not making me have a complex.

They look like normal boy toes to me, so hopefully they are. Or maybe Kaden's toes are inflamed too :)
