This is a picture of a tree in Heber....now it is an ice tree. I think it looks amazing. Apparently, they do it every year and it doesn't kill the tree. Amazing
Hey I recognize that tree! We live right by it. The Clydes are the homeowners, and they do it every year. I can't believe the tree can withstand all that weight, but it does every year!
How do they do that? I once saw something like that. It was just a huge ice fountain, without the tree. It happened because a pipe had a leak in it, and was spraying water all winter. I doubt they made their ice tree that way, though.

they did, haley. they just spray the tree with a hose, when it's cold enough to freeze. i guess you have to do it a couple of times.
I think I drove by that the other day.
Pretty cool.
I don't understand. Why do they do this? Just for fun? And why is only half the tree covered?
New rule...You can't tell Kathy to post more if you yourself have not posted something new. :) I like you.
