Pregnancy, revisited

For some awesome photos of me and my good friend and mission companion pregnant, visit her blog at http://justinmeganmartin.blogspot.com/2008/01/new-years-eve.html

Orange is the warmest kind of fur

My awesome mom made this alien blanket and it is SOOO warm. It must be from Alaska. Whenever I unwrap him, Talmage is sweating.
He totally travels in lap of luxury. Wrapped in soft orange fur, and dreaming of aliens.

Book of Mormon Stories

This is when he was starting to smile a little more. The girl across the hall is 15 months and really likes Talmage. Whenever she sees him she rocks her arms like crazy. (the sign language sign for baby). The other day, Talmage and I were over at their apartment and when she saw his shirt, instead of making the baby sign, she kept making the dog sign, slapping her thigh like crazy. Her mom was so embarrassed and we couldn't figure out where the dog sign came from....his shirt.
Talmage wore this cute shirt (thanks Haley) to church on Sunday. And he brought his Book of Mormon. He's very spiritual...and reverent. For example, last week while the sacrament was being passed, he kept grunting and grunting, getting ready to blow out his diaper. I heard the words in my head, "reverence is more than just quietly sitting..."

Christmas Clean-up

Truston helped the Coleman's clean up their christmas tree. And then grandpa helped clean up Truston.
Grandma's got a magic touch!
Talmage was sad he missed out on the fajoada. But he got over it and settled for some milk and a nap.

Happy New Years!

We attempted another photo shoot...it didn't turn out as well as the christmas photos, but he's still really cute!
This was Talmage's first day in a big boy outfit! Also of note, Talmage will only sleep if his head is cranked in this uncomfortable position. If you straighten out his head, he will wiggle around until it's cranked to one side again. Funny kid.
This is a picture of Talmage with his friend, Andrew Martin. As you can tell, they both had a lot of fun at the New Year's party.
